Things To Do In Mitchell South Dakota, Corn Palace Prehistoric Indian Village

Hey you guys! Thanks for joining me on another journey. Today I am in Mitchell, South Dakota with Alvin & Amy. We decided to check out the Corn Palace. It has been around since the 1800s. Each year, they decorate the building with different corn and display corn art inside. It’s an interesting oddity, that’s for sure. We joked around with the corn guy statue, and I teased Alvin about his corn hats he bought. Then we headed to Mitchell Prehistoric Indian Village. (Alvin & Amy did donuts in his $1 1997 Honda Accord in the parking lot–crazy teenagers.) We enjoyed Joseph as our tour guide and learned about how the people used to live so long ago. He even showed us how to hunt with prehistoric weapons called atlatls. We had fun with that.
