Things To Know Before You Go To Arches National Park (PART 1)

Hey you guys! Thanks for joining us on another journey. This week, we were at Arches National Park in Moab, Utah. We set out to do Arches in a few hours. We had Rachel and Alvin with us–if you refer back to a few of my older videos, you’ll remember Alvin as the Asian Cowboy and Corny Asian. ;-D We started out at Balanced Rock. Then we went to the North Window (and South Window). We finished off at Double Arch. I pointed out this is where River Phoenix came scrambling down to get away as young Indiana Jones in Indian Jones and the Last Crusade. Alvin told us he hasn’t ever seen the movie. I was appalled and said I don’t know how we are even friends, since it is one of my all-time favorite movies! After climbing up the side of Double Arch to take in the scenic view, April had a challenging time with her vertigo/heights issues getting back down. This was not part of the easy way, haha. We crossed paths with a couple of guys I’d chatted with over coffee at Aarchway Inn in the morning. We talked about having cramp-ons and how nice the hotel was. We were able to score the “penthouse suite” at Aarchway Inn at the last minute for a good price. April referenced the ‘A A Ron’ comedy sketch because of how they spell the inn’s name. 😀 Thank you for watching all the way to the end, and thank you for living life!!
